Let me guess if Port makes the GF and loses it, would you hold it in the same regards as the Crows losing in 2017?

It's not.

Beating WCE in Perth would be a monumental effort.

Likewise Brisbane if it's held in the Gabba.

Why would Geelong at the G be harder for instance? A non MCG tenant with a predominantly neutral crowd.

Lol - that’s why it’s 16 minute quarters and extended breaks. They’re aren’t real games are they? It’s manufactured to deal with the issues you list.

Look at the scores and possession counts. It’s nothing like a real game.

Yeh Craigy made Tex play the whole of 2008 in the Sanfl. Despite him kicking 60 goals. Then continually dropped him in 2009 despite him kicking 30 goals in like 12 games and 20 odd in 5 games in the Sanfl.

Wasnt it because Craig wanted him to work on his defensive game? He’s a forward FFS!

Why wouldn't it be an asterisk season??? all supporters (except maybe the one that win the convoluted premiership) will think of it as an asterisk season whenever AFL 2020 is mentioned, hence, it will be seen as an asterisk season as majority of supporters will even if the AFL don't officially state this season as an asterisk season. It's similar to you guys "claiming" the SANFL premiership as part of your AFL history, the AFL might recognise them but the other supporters don't.

I take it the Sack Hinkley thread is inactive tonight. Seems like it is in overdrive as soon as they lose or hell, even look like losing in a game.

Very sad and insecure. They are playing so “well” and all it has taken is a global pandemic haha!

Some excellent young talent yes, but a lot of players near the end, a head coach who their supporters don’t like, an unpopular president, CEO who is leaving. The threat of financial trouble never too far away... Such a strange little club Desperately trying to convince themselves that this is it, the old Port is back, success on the way blah blah blah.

The AFC will have overtaken Port again in a couple of years.

Lol, Fremantle supporters are still living off the 2012-2015 “glory years”
Mind you we are not worthy. They have “morals”. They are the true supporters, loyal with character. They don’t need premierships to feel fulfilled lol.

Usual Port myth building. Like how they continually repeat “We are Port Adelaide” to convince themselves that they really are the 1870 version. Seen their Wikipedia page? “Oldest sporting club in South Australia” and “won the license” in 1994. So let’s just correct that: they’re a company incorporated in 1994. They’re not the oldest anything. They’ve existed for 26 years. They’ve won one premiership in this competition.

Their constant lies and myth making is nothing but PR spin.

Agree, ask any AFL supporters from other clubs and see if they recognise their SANFL premierships as any relevant to the AFL.

It’s an asterisk season for everyone. You win the flag, there’ll be an asterisk next to it. We win the spoon, same deal. You’ll get a cup, we’ll get a pick one.

Completely consistent. No need for a draft lottery any more than a GF lottery. The season will have the same results. A flag, a spoon, draft picks according to position.

Just all with asterisks.
