I am in no way defending DUI. None. There is no excuse.

I'm questioning our handling of it in comparison to others. We always throw the player under the bus. Other clubs stick up for their players.
How the **** can you stick up for a drink driving, unregistered player? 😳

"Our player made a terrible judgement call and he understands it but during these very unique times sometimes a younger player can make a poor decision of which he can learn from. What happened over the weekend may be camp related (nod to Caro)...we will endeavour to work with Tyson as he is a member of the Crows family and we look after our own, he will face sanctions as he should but we will face his punishment standing together, as a group. As an individual, as a playing group, as a club, we will come out of this wiser and stronger."

Good.

this current crows team dont deserve to be playing at home.

and hopefully a whole heap of interstate games will harden the team up to travelling.. which is one thing the clubs’s never really excelled at over its 30 years.
Thought we’ve always travelled alright (except for Geelong and tassie, maybe it’s the cold)

Looks like we're a road team all year

That is just bizarre especially if you could allow say for Collingwood/Geelong to comeback from WA.

If you thought our performances were bad now, you’ve seen nothing yet.

Are the players going to get an opportunity to comeback at all to see families? Seems a bit cruel otherwise.

I think I’ve found the figures.. all up we’ve played 321 away games for 132 wins and 2 draws and 187 losses.

definately room for improvement.

Meh... they need to harden up... in the army you can spend up to 6 months plus away from your family..

and its not like they are being sent to play in Mogadishu ffs..

Its been rumoured some Tigers players will not participate in the next hub.

I would presume a loss this weekend would probably cement that line of thinking.

I wouldnt begrudge older Crows players choosing family over this farcical season.

Yes, they do need to harden the **** up but you do know that when you join the army that you may be sent away for months/years at a time and to foreign countries like Iraq/Afghanistan etc.

Personally going away at a young age away from family and friends does give you independence and you grow up very quickly.

What’s the overall stats for traveling teams though?
Traveling teams would lose more often than not.
