There was been 4/5 AFL games broadcast live in the USA each round this year. Several of them at this timeslot, I'm not sure how this qualifies Adelaide vs Fremantle as the "first"

I think Fremantle is driving the bus on this narrative

Also per the listing we are not even participating as we have been replaced. ;)

Can anyone explain why Tom Hawkins would be allowed to spit onto his hands, rub them together and then pick up the ball to take a shot at goal?

It has to be the most bizzare thing I have watched that was not commented on by anyone at the ground...it's like they must be free of Covid-19 in Victoria so there is no reason to observe any protocols

arent the balls cleaned during the game?

Might be but if his kick for goal drops short then the ball is in play and can go through multiple hands, or it gets marked just over the line and they play on quickly after the point is called and that same ball stays in play for two, three four or five minutes...

I mean, you can see where I am going with this, spitting on his hands...FFS

The Suns should be getting in the ear of Max King to lure him up to play with his brother, the pair of them are going to be absolutely elite.

More likely Ben ends up playing for a Melbourne club, no doubt with the assistance of an AFL ambassador's role.
