Don’t know about you guys but I don’t feel the whole “original rivalry” about this fixture anymore. Sure, there’s history but it’s not like the league has been around for 100 years for it to simmer. For me the Big Blue is the only one, the typical Melb v Syd sort of thing. I don’t even care about the Melbourne derby as much anymore. I did when they were Heart because it was embarrassing to lose to the little guy, but not so much since they just became an empty CFG franchise.
