It depends on how the draft goes. I’m guessing we’ll end up losing Cegs for 41 and giving up 59 for Lynch.

That gives us 5, 21, 24, 41 at the draft which is a very good hand. I would have preferred another Pick in the 5-10 range but with our contracted senior players seemingly wanting to stay + no team offering such a deal it’s difficult to see how that could be achieved.

Nail two or three of those picks in addition to the development of players we already have and suddenly things aren’t so bad. Rebuilds aren't done in one trade period.

You have to get lucky.

You have to want other clubs who value your players more than you.

In an ideal world, clubs would be lining up for some fringe players...oh well.

But yes, at the moment, we have only lost Timmy for nothing...so that is a red mark in the ledger.

Without reading other boards I would assume other clubs supporters arent wanting to get rid of the players to the extent that our supporters are. Last year Collingwood were the laughing stock this year Hawthorn are.

We don't have problems with cap space. That was clearly Collingwood's problem and they were forced to tip out Treloar, Stephenson and Bosenavulagi. We haven't traded at all. How can we possibly be a laughing stock?

Haven’t you heard? Sam’s desperately ringing everyone from his office trying to sell everyone over 26 for a future fourth while Jeff sends emails in his hawks jacket next to him.

Chad’s a terrible bloke who we need to drop to the twos for loving hawthorn, Jaegar never plays due to his GC injury and TMitch should be sold for less than Adam Saad.

We also need to jettison all stars for draft picks but keep our stars.
