Weekend Wrap and "Liked, Learned, Hated" right here -- How did tipping go?
I don't know how anyone could be in love with Luke Bev... not my favourite person. This also came to my mind but seems he’s in love with Luke Beveridge so if he’s returning to Vic he will definitely go to the dogs.

This is our worst case IMOI’ve got a feeling GWS will trade down from pick 2 with either Richmond or Hawks .
this is how I see the top 6 or so playing out
pick 1. North JHF
Pick 2. GWS trade pick to Richmond who choose Callaghan (don’t think they bid on anyone else)
Pick 3: Gold Coast who pick Daicos. Matched by Collingwood
Pick 4: Gold Coast pick Mac Andrew
Pick 5: Crows trade with Hawks
Pick 6: Hawks pick Hobbs or Ward
Pick 7: we pick Rachelle Rachelle
Pick 8 : freo pick Erasmus
Pick 9: GWS bid on Darcy and is matched by the Dogs
Pick 10; GWS pick Gibcus
I like Rachelle, but we can't come out of pick 4 with a small forward type. This is our worst case IMO
I don’t think we could get a more underwhelming result from pick 4 in a draft.

West AdelaideAnd of ave pace .....not a Top 10 option IMOI like Rachelle, but we can't come out of pick 4 with a small forward type.
If we are talking about Roberts he mainly played on ball in the centre square most of the day , his work rate to get to the outside and get more ball in the last quarter really stood out and was a good effort when his team needed himArticle indicates he was thrown into the middle in the last. Where did he play the first 3 quarters?

Closest player to Toby Greene in this draft, better junior than Cody Weightman IMO.I like Rachelle, but we can't come out of pick 4 with a small forward type.
Crows have emphasised their need for pace in every interview since season's end. He has pace - his consistency seems to be in question. However.if the Crows really feel that they have a very good shot at getting Rankine next year, then they won't pick Rachelle. And of ave pace .....not a Top 10 option IMO
West AdelaideI'm not a fan of small fwds as top 10 picks ......I sneered at MELB taking Kosi Pickett ....can look at those types from 2nd round onwardsCrows have emphasised their need for pace in every interview since season's end. Spot on Josh Rachele has pace, especially off the mark contrary to that post.Crows have emphasised their need for pace in every interview since season's end. You sure you want to admit to thatI'm not a fan of small fwds as top 10 picks ......I sneered at MELB taking Kosi Pickett ....can look at those types from 2nd round onwards
Is Rachelle dramatically offering anything that we already don't have on the list (McAdam) ......not IMO

Surely if he's a target we split 4?Spot on Josh Rachele has pace, especially off the mark contrary to that post.

West AdelaideYes ....many thought it was too early for Pickett ....and the thought was MELB reached for Pickett, believing another club would grab himYou sure you want to admit to that![]()
I hope so, 2 shots at this 1st round is what I've advocated once pick 1 was no longer an option. No access to JHF or the F/S that was always my preference.Surely if he's a target we split 4?
West AdelaideI'll stand by my assessment of Rachele .....and my mother is closer in playing style to GreeneSpot on Josh Rachele has pace, especially off the mark contrary to that post.

Bullshit.I'll stand by my assessment of Rachele .....and my mother is closer in playing style to Greene
He's not quick ....quick as in the speed and agility we're seeking for a small fwd
But he’s proven to be a quality player and fills a need, so if they used a top 10 pick on him who cares. Plus he was never getting to a rookieYes ....many thought it was too early for Pickett ....and the thought was MELB reached for Pickett, believing another club would grab him
I've always been of the view that top 10 players are for structural players .....players you can build a club around .....FP players don't meet those criteria
Eddie Betts was selected as a Rookie ......Chaarlie Cameron was a Rookie .....Stengle was a Rookie
I'm happy with that path for small fwds

Well it would make sense - but I would really only want it to be with either Freo or Richmond as I would want 2 x 1st round picks. If it was with Richmond for 7 & 15..the bonus would be we get 2 picks in before Port...maybe Hobbs slips to 7 and if not Goater, then Draper at 15I hope so, 2 shots at this 1st round is what I've advocated once pick 1 was no longer an option. No access to JHF or the F/S that was always my preference.

West AdelaideAnd this was my point .....we need a small fwd with some real pace and tricks, a POD from what Rowe and Murphy offerHe's not as quick as Kozzy and Charlie but I'm comfortable that he has the necessary speed and agility to be successful as a small forward.
not lightning fast but his athletic profile is pretty damn good, will allow him to play forward and some midfield/wing time at AFL level, and well. We could always do with a player with his goal sense, maybe not with 4 but he’s a player I’d be a big fan of for us if we moved downMcAdam not a good comparison IMO. I’ve seen the name Didak thrown around, I can get behind thatAnd this was my point .....we need a small fwd with some real pace and tricks, a POD from what Rowe and Murphy offer
In that GF whilst Kosi didn't get a lot of possessions, it was that fear of being run down by Kosi, that created opportunities for MELB
Charlie had that, Betts had that run down speed early in his ADEL career ......I'm not seeing that with Rachele or that he offers more than a fit McAdam
But also not the player type to use #4 on
West AdelaideI didn't compare Rachele to McAdam .....I simply said IMO he doesn't offer more than what a fit McAdam canMcAdam not a good comparison IMO. I’ve seen the name Didak thrown around, I can get behind that
How about 14 years service compared to 6 yearsI didn't compare Rachele to McAdam .....I simply said IMO he doesn't offer more than what a fit McAdam can
TWT how my analysis pans out
