Bulldogs and Geelong get to belt the Kangas twice this year, there's a giant leg up to the finals!

Meanwhile, from last years bottom six we only get the up and coming Swans twice. Could not make this sh*t up.

Our fixture this year is a joke. Will be a decent achievement if we make the finals.

I note that in a fortnight we play Richmond off a 5-day break to their 6. Already played Melbourne off a shorter break.

Could go on about the other unfair things in our fixture but what's the point.

I guess it's just 'bad luck' that we play Sydney twice from the bottom 6 who are clearly the best side in that bracket. Except it's not bad luck because the fixture isn't randomly drawn.

I think this new style of game just suits him. Must be nice to have a midfield that has the ability to deliver the ball to forwards who can take marks and kick goals.

Oh and Mowman you asked me before why I don’t like Bailey smith? It’s been said but Countless times I’ve seen him go and be a smart arse like tonight when Bruce took the mark in the last qtr or last year when he kicked a goal and went up to Patrick Cripps and gave him sh*t early in the game (before they were pumped by 53 points)

I’ve never liked that type of sh*t. I hate it when our players do it too. It’s ugly look for the game.

Would I have him at our club? fu** yes, I probably would’ve hated Milney if he didn’t play for us. (Not comparing him to milney btw just making a point) but I won’t deny he’s a great footballer and top five in that draft.

But I still think Connor Rozee and Sam Walsh are better . And the kings are better than both of them. That’s my top five.

Given that the full back can now run 20 metres out from the goal square and then kick it another 50 metres to a 50/50 contest on the boundary line on the wing - why the hell would you mess around with with short passes to the back pocket and the across hbf?

We do it as well. Stuffed if I know why. Belt it to the centre. Make it an even contest and even they get it then it’s at least 2 kicks till you can score.

Currently down by 61 midway through the 3rd against the Dogs.

I don't think I've seen a side get so routinely smashed. Pretty worrying for North fans.

Honestly I would love it if he was a Saint. He's the best player from a super draft so far IMO. Walsh looks like he's stepped up this year but Smith has been one of the best mids in one of the deepest and best midfields ever assembled. He's 20 (a year younger than Bytel) and looks like he's been playing for a decade.

You’d expect then that if we struggle this year Lethers and co will have a big say about having a softer fixture next year. It’s bullshit that Port get kissed on the dick for finishing top of the ladder and we get shafted for scraping into the 8.
