problem is, he clearly left his feet.

Dangerfield left the ground suggesting he wanted the hit to be hard (which is fine) but Dangers technique smashed Kellys face.. severe concussion and broken nose

I've never understood why it is acceptable to clean blokes up after they have disposed of the ball.

It isn't tough. It's just picking players off who are exposed and can't defend themselves.

About right. In this climate. Though the AFL are reactionary. They may want to remove or make rules around the bump. I reckon if someone does it next year it will get more.

Exactly. If there was no head clash, it wouldn't even be report and Dangerfield would be free to clean up the next unsuspecting mug this week.

AFL are walking on eggshells with anything to do with concussions now that lawsuits towards them are being threatened.
Can't do anything that makes it look like they are soft on head trauma. That's also almost certainly why we had a rule change two days before the season started.

If it wasn't worth 3 weeks before, it is now.

Those 2 elbows by the Richkond guy and Daniher should have been at least a week each even if no damage was done. Fines don't do anything. Weeks do.

Good call , i do know him and he is not scum , i don't like his club , President down , but he is not scum.

i heard he nicked one of those guide dog donation tins from the supermarket

you know the ones that look like a dog

and that dangerfield was the getaway driver
