Also, in possibly related news, Stuart Dew is seeking a return to Port Adelaide.

Calling it now - McGovern to Port next trade period.

I was thinking the same thing, I might give it a go, but it is a lot of work.. Heaps of frames.
How about Hamish Hartlett banging his drumsticks on a KFC barrel looking like a complete spanner?

Oops sorry, Port did it first.

would you put your money behind Fages and co? [emoji56]
Would I sponsor the club supported by 75% of the state?

Uh, yeah.

There's probably been more admin **** ups down Port way than we've seen at the Crows. A LOT of time and energy wasted on pointless international expansion.

That being said - none of these sponsors care about the actual club. They just want national exposure. And if you get some flow on purchases in lower socio-economic areas, all the better.

Perhaps don’t start your point with fake news, 75%? Where are you pulling that from?

More admin **** ups? You’re sighting a push to get more sponsors which ultimately got squashed by a global pandemic.

Perhaps you could refer to their jobs for the boys leading to blowing a premiership chance, then the denial, then the payouts. Also recent examples of list management disasters.

Can you imagine the uproar on here if Jake Kelly made a dick of himself in an ad for a sponsor like this, or if McDonalds wanted to do a video of Nicks and Olsen going through a drive through together and making quippy one-liners at each other.

People in lower socio-economic areas spend more money on fast food than anyone else. Seems a perfect fit when you think it business wise.

You only need to drive past Maccas/HJ/KFC in the North or South of Adelaide from 6pm to 730pm to see the massive lineup of cars in their drive thru.

I was down nearly Noarlunga Centre a few Sundays ago and whilst driving along saw the line up into Maccas was down the bloody road at lunchtime. Just bizarre for crappy food. Understand why as it is cheap (well supposedly).

Aside from the discounts on the mobile app, it's not even that cheap. I used to eat that crap once or twice a week but discovered I have a wheat allergy and now I cook all my meals instead. Cooking sucks bit I'm eating way better food.
