Starting to think if I'm going to have to play 4 rookies on field, it might be worth using the one that will play every week and has a chance to score okay. Then upgrading with an extra sp in the mid s.
Not likely the night before team sheets.

I have been around the 4-5 rookies on field for the last week. I'm trying to keep them either mid or fwd there will be enough.

Definitely Grundy.

There will be rookies, and there will be more flexibility in the MIDs than in RUC.

I think impey will be one of my last upgrades
Daniher will make the most money early and become a premo quickest
I think dow will be good but nowhere near the level of that practise game come the real stuff

If Impey stays fit, he can be a season long 75+ average from the back, and a late season upgrade.
If Daniher can string together 2 big games in a row, should make $150k-$200k in short order, ready to upgrade.
Dow has potential and looked great in the praccy, but when the real stuff begins he'll get shuffled down the order again. JS an issue.

I dunno how many times I've traded/moved a number of players just to free up >$50k, and then either still not happy or couldn't get enough.
This game can be frustrating!

Currently I have Oliver, Macrae, Danger, Cripps & Heppell at M5. I figure if we get 7-8 mid and m/f rookies that look like they're going to be decent scorers I'll have 6-7 to choose from (with one on the fwd bench) for 3 on-field Mid spots. Doesn't feel too ballsy, since the Def is stacked and bat to F6 Impey in the forwards. With daily team sheets, if rookies are going to be rotated in and out, I prefer it to be on a line where I have 3 on the bench.

Yeah but we both know Danger is F1 so really three Premo MIDs plus Heppell
