Possible players that actually might be a possibility to be brought to stkilda as I see it are

Ben King - contracted
Peter Ladhams - contracted
Matt Crouch -Restricted Free agent
Hayden McLean - out of contract
Dylan Stephens - out of contract
Daniel Talia - unrestricted free agent

outside chance if Dunstan and Ross both leave

Charlie Constable - out of contract

will most likely loose
Ross
Battle
Dunstan

To other clubs

McLean is a forward and a big unit at that. Stephens is from SA so may want to go back, would he be any better than our current crop? Apparently not much interest for 1 player not on your list Chol from Richmond. Coleman Jones is also out of contract but I dont think the Tiges will let him go.

both 30 next season. pretty standard age for a KPP to pull up stumps
I think talia still thinks he has a bit to offer, struggled with fitness this year but thinks he'll come back strong next year after a solid preseason.. I dunno, would prefer to get games into clav or battle

Interesting but there is zero noise about Bing interested in leaving and nominating us - I’d love it I just can’t see it unfortunately and you’d think we might have even heard an article about him weighing up his future if he was by now?. I think he’ll re-sign and stay put sadly. Ladhams might be ok from that bunch for ruck support
Otherwise think we are hitting the draft

Rumours Elliot Yeo wants out of WC, asked for a trade last year but was denied, will ask again this year

Anything could happen this trade period with just about all the teams stretching the salary cap.
It wouldn't be out of the question to see players of the caliber of Darcy Moore , Dunkley , Shiel , Degoey , Hopper , Taranto , Yeo become available.
If a player just is not happy at a club they could well ask to move and get the ok to do so.

Players like Brander , Riccardi , Lipinski , Narkle have been talked about all season and have still not signed and Ross , Dunstan , Billings , Lonie are leaving it late knowing something could be happening.

This was only filmed Two months ago so I very much doubt he wants out

Think you are correct

I don’t think it’s in our best interests to get Bing this year. Gold Coast would hold all the cards and I also think it’s important that we spend our first on a “mid” this year, before potentially selling the farm for Bing- who would be pretty much a pure luxury.

If we do it this way around we can add some real class to our midfield this year and then (if he wants out), add Bing next year- giving us the best of both worlds- whereas if we add Bing this year, we might not be able to add some real class to our midfield for a couple of years (at least through the draft) as Bing would undoubtedly cost us our next two firsts.

I think we also need to realise that teams like Collingwood and North are likely to make enormous offers to Bing next year. Tom Boyd-like offers.

North will probably offer him at least $8 mil over 8 years, which will give him plenty to think about, while Collingwood will likely need him much more than we will (if Max and Sharman The Great continue on as they left off).

That's it. That's the post.

0 basis.

0 logic.

Just take it.

Is that mail, Gav? Would love that.

Get him this year, a class kid with our first, and then Bing next year, and we could be cooking with some serious gas.

I'm torn on Parker, next year you would love him but you would want to be looking at a premiership in the next couple of years if you were chasing him. His sticking point at Sydney is length of contract rather than big money. He'll be 30 in October next year, he's been resilient but will 34 year old Parker still earning $700k or so end up a yoke around our necks? He's a gun so you'd alway love one of those but it's more about the longer term.
