Could be correct, however not one of these players were in the metro or country side for either of the 2 games
yeh i know. I'm saying that since those games were played, these three players have significantly improved their position. Look out for these three names in future Victorian sides

Not exactly sure where to put this, but looks like the NAB League will be back to the U18s format next year:

will be fascinating to watch the top 3 Vic metro boys and how they go in the NAB league next season. I think Ashcroft in finishing year 12 this year, so will have a full season of NAB league
Ashcroft could always move back to Queensland to play VFL with the Lions instead, probably better given he already looks dominant amongst his peers

If he is going to uni next year it would make sense to go to Qld and start otherwise I would be inclined to stay in Victoria if I was him. Generally the development programs are better there and there is a much greater focus on football.

It was mentioned by our head of football on the clubs podcast, that we hope (covid permitting) to bring Ashcroft up several times during the season, to train with us and play for our VFL team.

I’d also imagine if our vfl team is playing in Vic, and it’s during a NAB league break, that Ashcroft might play with us, as he doesn’t have school commitments.

Usually our top academy and father son kids train with the senior team after the AFL Christmas break. Hopefully I get along to a few training sessions, so I’ll let you know if any kids look handy.

Jaspas had a meeting with Fages and has been invited to train with the team up until xmas and after.

Keeler only goes that high if he wants to go that high and he doesn't want it enough at this stage. If he really wanted to knuckle down has the talent to be 1 but not looking likely he goes really high at this stage. On talent alone he's hard to match.
They said the same thing about Sicily his draft year. Some people just have a cool demeanor, I don't think outward aggression and emotion is required to be dedicated to your craft.

Don’t think it’s a cool demeanour in Keller’s case, can pick and choose when he wants to give effort.

Much like his other Port Augusta mate Tariek Newchurch so much raw talent but applying it on a consistent basis across a full game is the problem.

Did start to see some signs with Newchurch in the latter part of the season that the penny might be dropping in that regard so hopefully it will be the same for Keeler when he gets to an AFL club. Plenty of similarities to Paddy Ryder athletically.

Yeah I totally agree it is so hard to avoid that comparison with Ryder. Although I'm not sure Isaac has quite the same leap as Paddy. Heaps better at ground level and on either side of his body though. When the ball hits the deck he moves as smoothly as almost anyone top mids included.

Sicily didn’t have a cool demeanor in his draft year. He was high strung and emotional. Would get so upset that he’d be visibly upset at the end of games, and scouts were concerned his outbursts just wouldn’t cut it at the top level.
