Has had 23 and 19 the past 2 weeks and played a fair bit of the game on the weekend as the loose man down back so they seem to like to have it in his hands being entrusted with kick outs as well. Melbourne should dominate the inside 50 count and most of the game should be spent in the Roos defensive half so he should have plenty of opportunity to be around the footy and getting involved in defensive possession chains.

Dees give up a fair amount of footy to half back types with the likes of Witherden (24), Duggan (26), Sinclair (26), Impey (21), Day (20) and Scrimshaw (20) getting the footy in recent weeks, expecting this one to keep shortening in value.

dogs were awful at Ballarat vs Adelaide this year.. they brought the Heat and the dogs collapsed, I still think they beat GC but not taking anything at those odds and line

Dogs didn't play Gold Coast at Mars last year, GC only won once in last 7 seasons against dogs and before Adelaide game dogs had won previous 5 at Mars, Gold coast playing well, but I wouldn't be backing at Mars.

Both Geelong and Port Adelaide midfield I think are showing signs of maybe slowness around the contested ball, and its supportive in the stats in the Net Contested Disposals ranks for 2022. Think whoever wins that midfield battle will most likely win the game, Id back Boak/Wines/Amon over Danger/Selwood/Guthrie at the moment. Danger hasn't quite looked the same player as he has been compared to his previous years.

There's basically no value early in the week anymore. Odds are trash, and the shitty weather settling in isn't exactly going to boost the totals. Something always pops up when the teams are announced though.... position changes, first gamer's etc... so Thursday night/Friday is pretty much the only window where the books haven't adjusted correctly and you can find players worth backing.

163.5 at marvel dees vs North looks gettable if dees don't get bogged down like vs Eagles in qtr 2 and 3, their 1st and 4th quarters were classic dees attacking style... Don't think North will go ultra defensive like Eagles and they also don't have as good as a backline to pull it off... Dees/Eagles still managed to go 150 despite nothing happening qtr 2 and 3.. no weather worries either.

Total been steadily dropping for Rich vs Ess, started very high 179.5 its now as low as 172.5... its nearly a play on over now.... can middle 172.5 tab into under 176.5 for something fun to watch Sat night if you want to risk a few dollars to try hit a small middle lol, i think I'll play that game and dees vs north as the two for overs, can't see either being bogged down for long periods, then Again can Essendon get 50 plus against the Richmond defence to push this total over?
