Olli hotton gotta be a real possibility at our pick 10 now. On the smaller side, but all class one touch. Will start his career as a high half forward but will end up being a centre square mid. Reminds me of jimmy Bartel.

He looks really good but looks a bit like pick around 18 not 10 IMO.

He played a few games for the Zebras this year also and did pretty well. I wouldnt think the club would be developing him there if they didnt believe they could get him as an NGA this year?

Surely something has to go our way after missing out on McKenzie as an NGA!!!

He’s been really impressive the whole finals serious a real Wilkie type operator.

Still think McKenzie is the top of the wish list. Despite what will be everyone’s concerns over him being a half back who is not a pure kid. His mid craft is elite. His poise is Mundy like. Also looks a lot bigger then 186 imo

So with two of the main U18's comps having their seasons completely done and dusted, it's a good opportunity to come out with a fresh rankings. Thought I'd take it to top 50 given we're getting closer to the period where fans will know where abouts their clubs will be selecting. As always happy to answer questions, I have a list of about 50 more players I view as 'draftable' as well, so there's depth in the draft but I'm not 100% convinced on anyone from about 35 onwards which is partially exciting and frustrating.

In terms of tiers, I probably see it as the Top 5 in Tier 1, 6-12 Tier 2, 13-30 Tier 3

Started in the middle and went back into defence. Whole side had a downer as Ashcroft and team dominated.

Brisbane been top four or close for the last five years and get handed clearly the best player in this years draft.

I think the father-son like the NGA (which didn't need cutting back), should be off limits to a free hit, to say the first five picks. Would of meant Daicos and Ashcroft went to North where they should be. While teams who develop their NGA are not cut off from bidding on their own talent within reason.

D'Aloia and Lemmey have lost some ground since last year.

Yeah I haven't followed him closely, but surprised to see Lemmey fall that far.

Mobile 200cm player that can play at either end. I'd be happy to take him in the 2nd round for sure.

He's had a shit year and really dropped away but that's not even in close to how he projected a year ago. Was tipped to go 1.

He's got a set of highlights I watched the other day where he was playing defence and moved forward late. He looks very mobile for his size. I was impressed.

He was the next Rooey before the start of the season. Classic lead up marking forward and looked the business. Now he's scraping into the top 50. Perhaps a Sam Hayes type. Cadman and Jefferson deserve to be the best of the KPFs but I thought he might have drifted out to the second round not off the radar.

D’Aloia claimed the Alan Stewart Medal as best afield in the Eagles’ Under 18 grand final win over Glenelg with 29 disposals, eight clearances and a goal. He got a taste of SANFL reserves level too and had 22 disposals against Norwood on debut. A genuine inside midfielder that has great stoppage craft.



HARRY LEMMEY

Club: West Adelaide/South Australia

Position: Key forward

Size: 199cm, 93kg

Champion Data player comparison: Brody Mihocek

Champion Data says: Lemmey’s marking was a strength across his seven SANFL 18’s matches last season, rated above average for both marks and forward 50 marks among key forwards.
Foxfooty.com.au says: Arguably the top key-position prospect of this year’s class, Lemmey looms as a player that will be taken at the pointy end of the draft. He had a taste of SANFL league action last year, featuring in two matches late in the season and kicking one goal in each game. He’s a terrific size for a key forward, but he also possesses a great skill set, highlighted by his excellent kicking ability. Recruiters are keen to see Lemmey make the most of his athleticism and mobility by spending more time in the ruck this season. All things going to plan, he’s likely to join Aaron Francis, Izak Rankine, Will Day and Riley Thilthorpe as West Adelaide products to be taken in the first round. Oh, and he’s a Crows fan.
