Talking through business and corporate life as much as footy. Having sat on many interview panels if people aren’t generally aligned with the existing strategy and thoughts with the company they are interviewing with don’t get a look in.

That’s not to say fresh eyes and new ideas are blocked out - just that the strategic view of the organisation and the candidate have to align

Francis barely makes it up to B Grade most games. Has an occasional game that makes people rate him higher than he actually is. A lot like the occasional good game from Himmelberg or Frampton that gets you a bit excited before they immediately return to C Graders

In the meanwhile, probably should bring in some KPD depth, especially if we end up delisting Frampton and/or Borlase. Dunno who that could be, though

Yes he could compliment what we’ve got

Good pairing with keays et Al , good overhead , good kick etc . Not the hardest worker but a talent which we lack

Would also like Tom Powell , not exactly what we need but is going to be a fine player

i doubt our system is much different to what Noble is doing so I doubt we'd get any more out of him. hed be happier I suppose, but not necessarily better.

Possibly, though picking up a Tasmanian would come with risk if they're getting their own side in a couple of years.

I think Powell will end up being a lot more than just an accumulator. At his best, he has great burst and evasiveness.

That's a real dead weight for dead weight swap.

I'm absolutely for it as Crouch has become one of the players where the club needs to be saved from themselves at the moment.

crouch gets us nothing, I'd be happy keeping him as depth and trade out one of Keays or Laird. I know we won't do it and nor would we keep crouch out of the side for any meaningful stretch of games. But i reckon that's our optimum rebuilding move.

Essendon deserve a generation of ineptitude until they're discussed with the same irrelevance as North are today.

The drug saga and their enduring refusal to confess and repent has consigned them to eternal football hell.
