Berry is a more constested player than most of the players you have mentioned above he’s a tackle beast and has a high fitness base
At times last year Lyons was booted out of the mids for Bailey .
I feel **** wants some speed in the guts at times .

Miller and Parish are wait and sees for me. If they can back up stellar 2021's.

Petracca was first picked for me. Astonished to see he isn't in more teams. Is an absolute professional, would have been running under a week after Dees won the granny. Laird and Steele are 2nd and 3rd picked. Because I love those kents. Neale at his price is a must and if he fails, every kent will have him anyway.

Andy Brayshaw is my POD this year. Reckon he's ready to go absolute beast mode.

Went to water when given more attention.
Just as likely to score <80 and drop massively.
Big risk for a bloke that's 600k+.
Rumour has it all it took was players going up behind him making buzzing sounds like hair clippers

Enjoy the drugs thats what ur club is famous for
Most of the West Coast folk that I know are really nice people.

Genuine. Clean cut. Totally normal.

Slowly starting to accept that a midfield consisting of 4 Gods + Neale at M5 isn't going to work, as I'll need the money to strengthen down back and up forward, and as there's going to be a few mid cash cows around

Who do I ditch? Macrae, Steele, Oliver, Titch or Neale?

I've got Macrae, Steele, and Neale. And M3 keeps rotating through Titch/Piggy/Walsh/Miller. Will probably go Titch or Piggy. Titch probably.

I've got no idea.......

Titch.

Ah yes the 2016 draft, where the suns turned 4 top 10 picks into 2 spuds and 2 B graders. A very weak draft in this non experts opinion.

With the benefit of hindsight I'd say you'd prefer one of English/Ridley/Stewart/Darcy who were drafted after Berry, but there isn't much else so picking McLuggage's mate is as good as any of the rest :p

Hindsight makes those picks easy. Stewart and Darcy both were picked deep in the second so realistically would never go that early and though at the time I liked English I don't really now. Plus we had Stef in his prime, with some developing rucks.

I think Berry has the ability to become an A grader, or at least borderline, but as I posted on the Lions board I worry injuries might prevent him from hitting that. Almost any time the guy hits a purple patch some kind of niggle hits him and interrupts it. Plus he never gets a full preseason due to niggles or glandular fever (though admittedly he has this year). I know you were being a bit tongue in cheek but was and still very happy with us taking Berry. It's only stats but his best games are very good. His worst are middling and most often impacted by injury. If he gets fit and consistency there is a very good player there.
