Doesn’t make sense. How do you plan a 4 yd run?

This is why you don't have defensive coaches become 1st time offensive co-ordinators

There were like 4 or 5 of the plays where they hit each other or near miss this weekend gone.

The only point of any relevance is the analyst admits he has no idea what the information means.

It means his play by my eye test matches up with the nerd stats. Darnold has been sneaky excellent. 0 turnovers, making big time throws when we need them.

This week will be a true test however, Bowles being Darnold's old coach surely knows his tendencies and what to pick on.

Taylor Heinicke has been benched for Carson Wentz.

Heinicke's grit and leadership made him a player favorite after Carson Wentz's early-season struggles. Heinicke was benched in last week's 37-20 loss to the 49ers; he threw for 166 yards, two scores, and a pick while losing a fumble -- his sixth in the past six games. Heinicke's days as an NFL starter are likely over: His EPA per play was seventh worst among starters over the past two months, with the Commanders struggling to get anything going through the air. Heinicke, 29, will be a free agent this offseason.

Raiders coach Josh McDaniels announced Derek Carr has been benched for the final two games of the season.

Coming off the heels of a back-breaking loss to the Steelers, McDaniels and company appear desperate for a spark as their season spirals the drain. The Raiders aren't technically out of the playoff hunt yet, but Carr's second-half meltdown in Week 16 put them at death's door. Even with a pair of wins, which will now have to come with Jarrett Stidham under center, the Raiders are extremely unlikely to make the playoffs. Stidham is unlikely to do any better than Carr in his two starts, but the latter has nine touchdowns and as many interceptions over the past five weeks. Stidham's takeover presents a downgrade for the entire offense, including Davante Adams and Josh Jacobs, who were fantasy stars for most of the season.

Stidham is going to get mauled.

Funnily enough this was probably the thinking behind it, Carr getting injured on a sack and his contract being guaranteed is the last thing Josh wants to happen.

Plus Tank last two games to get better draft hand and get out of Carr's contract (by not letting him get hurt) is pretty good idea.
Which makes it surprising Raiders are doing it.
