Being in an elimination final and not trading makes me nervous. Particularly if Cumming throws in a stinker.

I’d hate to lose and have a trade up my sleeve

Trade.

I used my last trade this week, and Hewett was the man to give way.
I am in 3 cashie finals, and am willing to risk it for the biscuit!

It’s sort of where I’m at.

It just a matter or taking the smart road and getting English or getting rid of that kent cumming.

If they would just F off HH Cumming would be fine.

I've played pretty conservatively this year .......but when it's your time to go .....it's time to go

Please help Fellas. I am going to hold Hewitt for at least another week but I do really want to get Culley in. Should I or Shouldn't I?

If I do I was going to trade Clarke>Culley and I can swing Paddy Mac to defence which gives me a swing option with HH.
Then move Hewitt/Houston to the mids which allows me to move Culley Forward.

That's a hard one, you are in a great position though

Trades are important to keep atm for injuries... but, that trade of your will give you the necessary coverage that's equivalent to a trade anyway

My only question is are there any guns that you would want and that 2 trades can get that for you e.g. the Bont?

You really don't need Culley for coverage .....only reason you'd do McComb to Culley, is for the $$$$ to luxury trade up .....Stewart an example

True, but have a look at his team after this proposed trade - he's got all lines covered - in multiple ways

Yeah I'm not convinced about McComb having good JS the last few rounds. It is more just to give me a bit more cash in the bank where I could trade Hewitt to a good Mid/Fwd later to cover Cameron when Grundy comes back.

I don't have any guns I intend on trading in. I sort of set my team up to have good bench cover which sacrificed maybe 1 or 2 SP's in my team.
You can see I had 2 Premo defenders as cover and lucky I did I have 2 out this week.

In those circumstances, I'd say yes, do the trade

I listened to your trade suggestion for my side very carefully .....in the end, I just couldn't trust how long Hewett would be out injured & what his form would be like, on his return

Your proposal made 100% sense if Hewett were back next week

Houston will be back next week IMO.
You have 24 premos and 2 are injured.
These are the weeks your awesome depth saves you from having too trade.
If Houston and Hewett play next week you will have vastly different trade options.

So this is how the team looks doing that trade.
It leaves me with 1 trade left and $45k in the bank

That’s awesome coverage! And with one spare trade too, which is great.

I’ve got a feeling the SC injury gods are not done as yet.

Probably the midfield will cop it this time :straining:

Thanks mate
I also like having Paddy Mac back in Defence this week if he happens to pull out another 100+ game I can bench Short and have Hewitt as Captain loop.
I can't use him down forward because everyone apart from Dunkley are playing early this afternoon.
