I have Preuss/Hayes is it worth taking a punt on Grundy to Ladhams and backing Ladhams to be a top 5 ruck with Hickey out?

Or just Downgrade to a Strnadica and have cash to spend on other lines.

Pretty mindful both Ladhams big scores have been against teams with no genuine ruck (WC & Hawks).

Talk on SEN that 3 dees have covid. Imagine if gawn is one, just to up the carnage levels this week.

Along with Jackson and Bowey, nothing surer than that (coincidentally I own them, of course!)

Wouldn't be too upset if it's Clarry. Would prefer to get him next week!

North kenties

Is Xerri going to be out for a while? Is he a hold if dropped? BE is low, just needs a couple more games to be done.

Are they thinking one ruck will do against Carlton this week?

LOL maybe Witts as I didn't have the foresight to pick him

A 29yo bloke coming off a knee reco who has never averaged over 100 seemed a really safe 'pass' option pre-season, but that's the random joys of SC, kudos to those who started him or had the guts to bring him in before the price rises. :thumbsu:

think a few took him after Darcy wasn't named Rd 1 and Gawn was already locked out.

No doubt mate, between that and Hayes killing it rd.1 there were quite a few fortunate Darcy starters.

I didn't start Hayes or Dixon thinking their JS was awful, then blew trades bringing both in for the DPP factor and after it looked like they were near certainties to make great cash. No certainties in this game.

There's been an insane amount of sliding doors moments on the ruck line this year, like the SC Gods have been making up for a decade or two of utter boredom on this line with a season of total chaos. ;)

must admit I started Dixon thinking he would become my perma loop.

I started Preuss R3 trying to avoid dead rookies, which makes trading in Hayes and Dixon all the more frustrating. Hopefully at least Dixon can make some coin in coming weeks.

LOL...I haven't missed your weekly love for the big lug mate, good onya, he's been a season maker. :thumbsu:

Was feeling the same way about Hickey last year until I got Horsed. ;)

Had Witts and Preuss as my R1+R2 all pre season, never thought they would have a collective average just 7 pts lower than Gawndy's after round 7. Rest of my team is toilet but nailed the ruck line at least. Even caught both of Hayes big scores on field when Preuss was out.

If anyone feels jealous I believe I am currently ranked about 17k... so don't.

Witts also HAD the best clearance pair taking his taps. He was never picked for his possessions....just his taps work and HTA.

If he stays sound, with Gawn & Preuss, I've got my bye rucks already covered. Then the big decision....which one to recycle into Steele.

My thinking was that if having Ablett roving to him for 5 seasons didn't ever boost his average above 100, then nobody could, but now I look a little closer at it, they didn't actually play much together due to injuries to one or the other.

Also your modern ruck tend to be their best at the 30-35yo range.
