Pick 2 - Sheezel
Pick 3 - Wardlaw
[Picks 40, 43, 59 - trade to * for pick 22 to facilitate Davey f/s bid]
Pick 22 - Cowan / Keeler / Gruzewski
Pick 70 - Cooper Harvey f/s son bid (+ 2023 deficit)

Leaves three spots for Walker / Jed / DFAs / SSP.
nailed it. Although Tsatas over wardlaw for mine

J walker stays but on rookie list, plus bring in a DFA as a rookie (stocker) and use rookie pick 1 on the best player not drafted

The best thing about Kingy is that he's 100% emotionally invested in the club. The worst thing about Kingy is he's 100% emotionally invested in the club.

He's not looking at this objectively far too emotional to be rational. At best our trade period was an A at worst a B-.

IMO we should have got more for the rat 2 first round picks not enough, $800,000 six year deal they would have and should have given more. Again should have got two first round picks for our first pick. I’m giving us a C.
Whilst I don't disagree with your rating of a C, I think next year's trade & list management thread needs the following pinned:

"Player contract value does not equal trade value"

If it did, we would have paid pick 3 for Logue.

Kane Cornes lol listened to him once , once too many , what a fk head, to put it mildly.

It's all only marginally more quantifiable than trying to give a grade to each team after the draft.

The immediate draft gradings are just idiotic clickbait, there is more exposed form with players changing teams during the trade period, which gives some legitimate room for analysis of how team's have fared. But given how much of our trade period ins are draft picks, it is not going to be known for a few years how we actually did.

And it starts.

Honestly didn't think this would kick off so ****ing fast. I hate playing the victim but if you imagine the Dawks putting in a PP application next year, it's so ****ing easy to imagine the league giving it the stamp of approval without hesitation. If it's us or the Saints or some other shithouse team with a smaller fanbase (excluding the expansion clubs), no deal. Hooray for equity

Cornes quote:
“Ice baths don’t even work for that matter, maybe Jason Horne-Francis has looked at the science and said, ‘I don’t reckon these ice baths work’.

Could JHF even spell science?
**** off!!! He really said that????!!!!

Pardon my ignorance, but what's the SPP? Sam Powell Pepper period?
Supplementary selection period.
Runs right up to the start of the season.
Players can train with us all summer and we can pick the best player for a list spot.
If we get a LTI during the off season we can just add one of the blokes training with us to the list before the season starts.
Easily the best way to get a young player to join us but there wont be much of a list of players to choose from as most have been drafted/rookied previous to it.
Nick Martyn joined the bombers through the SSP last season.

* off!!! He really said that????!!!!

Yep, and he's carrying on like that's the only incident that happened.

Him and the other PA lackey Derrrwayne have been sticking up for Judas all day on SEN. Derrwayne being all high and mighty saying clubs should stop blaming others for their lot. Pretty obvious he was directing most of that at North.

On one hand the kid has been described as unable to complete basic paperwork. On the other, he’s researched the science of ice baths in recovery.

He’s certainly an enigma.
