If anything, I'd be keeping Walker for defensive cover. His forward work is ordinary - whenever he enters the attacking 50, his hands inexplicably turn to stone aka Tarrantitis.

Only one I think its remotely stiff is Jed. Would be the only one I'd consider rookie-ing.

That said, with Wardlaw/Phillips + rookie contracts, it's probably best for both parties to go our separate ways.

Rookie Jed and Walker for respective depth? Jed also would be capable of building his form to be best 22 worthy IMO. Would be sad to see him completely done with us.

Very harsh for Jed and Josh but probably the right decisions. Our midfields needs elite ball users and Jed lets himself down too often. Our defence is pretty stacked now, so can’t carry Josh anymore and plus he’s a terrible forward.

On the mail list, we now have 2 (Logue, Tucker) IN, and 4 (Anderson, Walker, Atu, Turner) OUT.

Leaves is with 34 and 3. 4 in main and room for 3 rookies thanks to our extra 2 rookie spots. One of either Jed or Walker for a rookie spot depending on who we take in the draft. If we bring in a tall then jed, if we dont then Walker. Possibility we keep both.

It's the dawn of a new era, after years of giving players undeserved contract extensions and hanging on to players hoping they'd come good or they'd eventually get over their injuries we can now set a new standard.

Time to draw a line under the Scott / Joyce and Shaw / Noble eras it's onwards and upwards with Clarko / Viney / Brady.
