Training 2022 Training Reports

Sorry but I think everyone is scared / worried about what it looks like if you re-integrate Fyfe into a midfield that's firing on all cylinders. If Fyfe is fit and ready, he needs to play, a month of match sims? He hasnt been out for two years with repeat ACL's, he's been training, did a massive pre-season (too massive apparently) and knowing him, is absolutely chomping at the bit to get out there and remind the competition of how good he is.

If he's got the all clear from a medical perspective, get him in, the sooner you get him in, the sooner you get vintage Fyfe.

Vintage Fyfe could win the Brownlow in 10 games.

Good luck telling your captain & a competitive beast “your good to go, but we’ll give it another month”
They train to play, if all the fitness levels have been ticked off, he plays.
Haha, yeah - it's a good point. I'd imagine he'd be frothing at the mouth over what's happening and be totally chomping at the bit to get back in....can't wait to see him back at some stage :)

Hilarious how people are worried about Fyfe - he's gonna take five minutes to remind everyone he's one of the best in the comp. He's the final piece that closes the remaining gap to Melbourne (assuming Taberner is in!).

Would be great to have Fyfe in for Collingwood just so that he has a game under his belt before we face Melbourne.

My Preciooouussss!

God it felt good going through the latest training gallery and seeing all those pictures of Fyfe. A lot of people really take him for granted.
It astounds me how so many "fans" can dismiss one of our most pivotal assets and arguably only second to Pav as our greatest ever.

The amounts of casual fans who think Fyfe is bad for the team sickens me.

He is clearly doing conditioning now. Looks fully fit to me. He was very close to playing one of the pre-season games but did the back just before so he had pretty big pre-season and volume of running throughout Dec/Jan/Feb. I expect a number of them incl. Fyfe and Johnson will have a heavy conditioning / match Simulation session this weekend. I’d expect Fyfe and Tbas to be available for the Melbourne game.

Pav was more loyal but Fyfe is comfortably a better player. ffs Fyfe could have easily won 4 brownlows if things had gone his way.

I think that Fyfe is currently suffering from a term I'm going to coin as 'Sandilands Syndrome'.

Griff was playing well as our ruck and many were dismissing Sandi forgetting how much of a force of nature he could be. Sandi came back and absolutely monstered every ruck he came up against.

A fully fit and firing Fyfe can be every bit as dominant. There's been very few that can dominate a game like Fyfe can and he can put our team on his back and carry us over the line.

Funny enough we’ve seen similar this year with Meek and Darcy

I remember at one point Sandilands was leading the league for Hit Outs, Clearances and Contested Marks. But apparently Cox was the GOAT because he could run around and be an average midfielder too.

Only the scary thing is (for the rest of the competition) he doesn't have to. His absence has been disappointing for us, but it hasn't hampered the team. If he comes back firing on all cylinders, he improves everyone else around him another 5-10% minimum. Lifts guys like Brayshaw even further....get a fit Tabs back, we could absolutely monster some teams going forward if that happens.....salivating at the prospect
