Training 2022 Training Reports

Erasmus seems like the glaring omission that isn't explained by the article - managing his load or is he too far down the midfield pecking order? At the very least I'd be giving him a run across half forward.
I would guess at load management. Would expect him and Fyfe to play next week, swapping for Brodie and Mundy.

Maybe also so they can fit all the defenders in, while they work out the best mix there.

Of all the players missing, Sturt missing pisses me off the most
Hopefully just load management. Same with Hamling, Erasmus etc. If he misses the next game I'll be pissed.

WC have a pretty weak team listed as well - including 4 of their train-ons I think (Keitel, Dixon, McQuilkin, Blechynden).

These games are just warm ups - no injuries is the only real goal.

No, real match time is the real goal.
Gives us a chance to see what we have in our new recruits.
match time is vital.

So who’s missing:

Fyfe, S.Darcy, L.Ryan, Walters, Hamling, Tucker, Treacy, Sturt, Aish, Walker, Erasmus, Amiss, Johnson, Bennings, Worner

Anyone care to do West Coasts missing list?

Walters also missing
I wouldn't be bothered calculating who is missing for WC but I hope for their sake it's a bunch of good uns, because that squad is awful

I don’t understand though, the West tells me that West Coast have an injury crisis, yet we have more substantial players sidelined, and more of them.
I don't think that is true. They have much worse long term injuries, ours are mostly superficial and/or minor....so far.

How does one watch Kayo from outside Aus, VPN and free trial?
If you'll be os for the whole season it's cheaper if you get a Freo International Digital Membership which is A$175

I have that but it’s Fox not Kayo.

Yeah we already have loads of mids and 3 talented youngsters on the sidelines in Odriscoll, Erasmus and Johnson

Brodie and Blakely fill Rogers role of WAFL/VFL guns who may not make it at AFL level, I'd prefer for the above 3 to get a run over them

Schlensog and Polson are competing in a spot we have less depth and you can never have too many talls

Near on three decades of Freo List Managers would heartily disagree with you!

Care to tell me which of their players are long term injured?
Shepard, Cole, Darling, potentially Shuey, potentially Allen, potentially Duggan, Greg Clark

Question marks over how much power Yeo has after OP burning holes in him for two years.

Nic Nat, Kennedy and Hurn a change of wind direction away from career over.

Sheppard retired, Darling essentially retired.
