Yeah he’s such a ‘meh’ targetGod, I hope he’s not the mystical player the club is confident of getting
I’m worried we chase him hard if Redman re-signs

Not these days. I found working in the AFL system to be a bit 'too much of a good thing' and it tended to kill my enjoyment of the game a little. You still involved in club land?
What’s it like supporting a club and working for another?
You mean third. Not these days. I found working in the AFL system to be a bit 'too much of a good thing' and it tended to kill my enjoyment of the game a little.
Supporting a different club than the one you're working for is very common. Probably only a third of employees grew up supporting the club. This was cool though as it gave you a second game every weekend that you were genuinely passionate about watching.
The Crows and Port Adelaide have showed interest in Western Bulldogs’ free agent Bailey Williams.
Williams kicked three goals for the Bulldogs against Fremantle last week and has been playing more midfield in 2023, in addition to roles at half-back and on a wing.
The former Glenelg junior, who is 25, is happy to wait until late in the season to assess his future.
It is more likely he stays at Whitten Oval but if he does decide to test the free agent walkers, it is expected both SA clubs will have some interest.
It's funny to look back at the lukewarm reception the news we were chasing Jordan Dawson got in the 2021 rumour thread and list thread.Seems an ok FA target, so I'm not against it. Sure, he's stagnated a bit in the last two years, but it seems like he fits how we want to play on top of adding a good bit of experience and an older body.
Might just be the spark his career needed as well.

"Okay player, waste of time when we have Hamill"
"Late second round pick" etc.
Yeah, he's a reasonable addition.Seems an ok FA target, so I'm not against it. Sure, he's stagnated a bit in the last two years, but it seems like he fits how we want to play on top of adding a good bit of experience and an older body.

Jordan who? It's funny to look back at the lukewarm reception the news we were chasing Jordan Dawson got in the 2021 rumour thread and list thread.

Never really paid much attention to him myself. But looking at his stats this year he has a elite kicking efficiency. Would fit in with Nicks’ high kicking game plan we seem to have going on at the moment.Yeah, he's a reasonable addition.
It's no Redman, but it's not a terrible option.
Port will go after Motlop from Carlton now surely.Never would have come to us and we probably wouldn't have chased him.
This keeps him away from Port which is great news
We signed Butts. Hopefully to a smallish contract.Doedee has been super consistent this year, so I'd hate to lose him. Butts, on the other hand, has had a lot of howlers this year.
I bloody well hope not!!!Would the club be bold and throw a big contract at Darcy Parish?
How come? Dominant clearance player.I bloody well hope not!!!
