Position 2023 Midfielders

are you on the titch train?
He's certainly underpriced given our coach was trying to give the younger blokes an opportunity and hence he was played out of position. If the Pies play him directly in the guts then he could well go back to his ridiculous accumulation-type numbers.

At this stage yepp got him at M5. Some decent value around that price though, so he's no cert.

Smith Green Warner Anderson all look ok as an M4/M5 type. I'd like to find a way to include two of Smith Green Titchell, with Hopper at M6. Probably Green and Titchell.

yeo hopper cunners? any one of these you not taking or anyone else you think has been missed?
Got all 3 right now. I think everyone can see that value. Looking at (hold your breath) H Clark also. I didnt get burnt at the high price like others did...so now that he's down at a decent starting price he's at least worth watching pre season games for any major midfield time. Must be mad !!

What about Max Holmes (Geel $360,600)?

I think he’s another, who achieve a similar thing in KFC SuperCoach.

Thanks to an injury-affected 14 and a slow start to last season, which included a clanger-ridden 18-point performance in Round 2, Holmes is priced at a 65-point average this year.

But Holmes, who teammate Patrick Dangerfield believes “could be the best player in the competition at some stage”, became a key part of Chris Scott’s side in the run to the flag, averaging 94 KFC SuperCoach points in the final six games, including finals.

From Round 20 onwards, the 20-year-old averaged 19 disposals, seven contested possessions, six score involvements, four inside-50s, four marks, 438 metres gained and one goal per game.

The Phantom’s verdict: I’ve got him ahead of Sheed and, as a pure player, ahead of Worpel. But at $360k in KFC SuperCoach, he’s harder to start alongside Hopper, so Worpel gets the nod in that head-to-head.

Geelong bias maybe, but this fella is a star! Still not sure he is SC relevant…just yet.

Yeah ....Holmes just a tad overpriced ....if he was Worpels price, he'd be a :padlock:

If he was m/f dpp I’d be very interested.

I think Jack Steele is underpriced along with Bontemshnozzle and Macrae, but I cannot squeeze him in.

You'll have to pay for this midfield somewhere else in your squad, but it's pretty much perfect apart from that IMO
Last few seasons we've spent 1.3-1.4 million on the rucks. This year spend it instead on two mids and get two x 500k rucks. Evens the amount out. So structure wise, don't think it's any different to previous years.

Forward line is an absolute dumpster fire. Lol.
