Black Friday game on Amazon starts this season.

Take Sunday afternoon, for example. Fox still has the NFC package, and CBS still has the AFC package. But the way the NFL selects those games is radically different -- the visiting team no longer determines which network will carry the games. Fox, for example, has a minimum guarantee of NFC games. But a Cowboys-Giants game could just as easily be slated for CBS as Fox.

ESPN gets three side-by-side “Monday Night Football” games that it will air on ABC and ESPN; last season it only had one
The league will have a triple-header on Christmas for CBS, Fox and NBC. Oh, and don’t forget that the NFL granted ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” flex scheduling for Weeks 12-17.



Teams can be on Thursday Night Football twice.
Not all teams are guaranteed to have a primetime spot.
