The worry for me is Melbourne. I think their Gawn, Grundy thing is in part specifically designed to negate our strategy of using Blitz around the ground, and Hawkins forward. With Gawn also replicating it somewhat in their own forwardline.

My thoughts exactly, I’m just hoping that it’ll take a year or two to really synch with the team and gameplan ….it looks ominous that pairing

I’m predicting the giants could be the movers in 2023. New coach and game plan, new captain and they regularly play finals apart from last year… could be an outside finals chance!
