Lots of positives to take out of tonight’s game - only lost to a top four side by four goals - so that’s really only a goal a quarter we have to find - we found new avenues to goals as our talls were held, with Motlop and Durdin contributing 2 goals each.

Just a little more consistency should see us winning these close contests - we’re still a work in progress.

My one non-negotiable regardless of the outcome is that the club and the 22 (23) that take the field next week RESPECT themselves and it's supporters and can walk off the ground, head held high, with the undeniable verdict that every single person involved performed (player, coach, trainers, etc.) with 100% heart.

If this team can honestly do that regularly and make it a habit then the rest will take care of itself.

This team lets itself down more than they let anyone - including us-supporters.

Yep it’s been tough for us 90s kids. Every year just gets harder and harder to accept. Still holding out hope I see one in my lifetime. What a time it will be!

It has become clear that Voss has no clue. I can't believe I'm saying this so early in his tenure, but it's there. We are ****ed.

Good point, I'll retract, 80% or 70% if you include playing witches hats last week.

Geelong was our best game, and they were so bad at that point. We won by just 8 points.

Last week we played 22 witches hats so that doesn't count.

North half time we were losing and played terrible, GWS took a dodgy free kick for us to hit the front late, Richmond rnd 1 was a terrible performance.

St Kilda, Adelaide and tonight we're terrible.

We are playing terrible football, only enough to beat pretty ordinary teams, just.

A little perspective is required tonight - we’re all disappointed - but as I said look at the positives tonight - great game by Cerra to pick up some other midfield slack and Acres knocked up getting possessions - 33 of them at 75%.

As I said previously we’re playing a top four side and only lift by four goals - there is lots to work with - a few adjustments here and there and we’ll be fine.

Did you watch the same game l was. We were smashed and got 5 junk time goals when games was over. In the heat of the game the premiership quarter we were destroyed. The margin made us look good. All stats point to us winnibg by 5 goals. But chipping the ball around doesnt lead to anything.
