Incl. boosts, what’s the maximum number of trades one can make before round 2? Asking for a friend
I had a friend ask how many boosts we could use in one week.

Was a sad short answer.

LOL, now that I have calmed down a bit I might either just bench Jones for a week and loop him with Cowan\Wilmont or trade him for Bowes if he is back.

I'm keen on Ziebell too as he will get DPP round 6 so can swing him back.

I'd like Daicos, Sheezel and Chandler too though.

Imagine seeing you at an all you can Buffett.

I'll have some of that .
2 of those .
3 of those .

LoL.

Jones to Daicos should be the priority. It helps your structure also (like mine).

I am bringing Daicos in via Ginbey DPP. The kid is exciting to watch, worth the trade in itself.

Maybe I should wait till after round 2 to try get Daicos in where I will get more clarity on who to trade out?

For example if I trade Hopper out when lockout opens and he tons up I will be salty.

On the other hand someone like Green (GWS) might get injured after round 2 and it will be an easy decision then.

Well Jones needs to go. Upgrading him to a premo (Daicos) would be the best course of action. Whatever else happens in between should really just aid the above from happening.

To make that happen, need to generate some cash. You are in a position where Laird is a term deposit you have not locked away yet. If you need money, pull it out now before it locks away.

Any news on Jones.

Can I go back and change him ...

Where is doc with the time machine.
Chat it’s a neck issue but no idea what that means in terms of severity. I think he’s a must trade even if he plays next week. He’s there to make some cash as a stepping stone which has been killed now.

What if they get dropped before round 2?
You wait and see if the rookie you're sideways trading for:
a. Plays well again in Round 2
b. Gets named for Round 3.

Don't go chasing points. Remember that Round 1 only counts in the rolling average for one week - someone like Chandler could drop a 20 next week and completely kill his cash gen. Get another look next week before price changes, then make the call.

He's the serious one .

Biggest key to remember.

Daicos looks class. There is a few other pies you'd think would cop the tag before he does. Josh was looking dangerous, Jordy too, let alone Tom.

Sheezel won't come up against West Coast every week, but 34 touches was extremely promising.

JHF on the other hand, as good as he looked, he is one I would want to see back it up next week before I bring him in.

Fijam degoey work needs to go into him imo.
Goal kicking mids are dangerous.
Mitchell not so much .

Nicky but yes clever and does find space .

And say Chandler gets injured or flops next week and gets dropped, then you've wasted a trade and need to make a second to get him out. So two trades for $0 cash gen.

Rookie correction trades after round 2, always.

Yeah it can happen but its a massive reach and a low chance, I dont want to be that conservative. If I had no issue then yeah I'd wait a week, but got 4 at the moment and Sunday hasn't started.

this year if you're too conservative you will fail, gotta go hard but smart trading in round 2.

sheezel is a no brainer. jones out is a no brainer. hopper out is close to that also imo. and JHF reminds me of buckley.
