Moved well, looks to have a powerful build about him. I think at this point it was just about getting through the session. Yeah hopefully see him in the VFL on limited minutes, if not this week then surely next week.
Read an article the other day on that draft. Matty Lloyd coached him at school. Said he was the cleanest play he has ever coach. Or something like that

Just when you think we are finally getting on top of all our injury problems we cop another one with Billings going down again with another hamstring.

Frustrating when he'd done all the rehab, got his match fitness back in the VFL and was on the verge of AFL selection, now he has to start all over again.

You have to doubt now whether we'll see him playing for the Saints in 2023, with some other guys returning it will be even harder for him to get back in.

This year is his 10th season with us. So it looks like a total of 152 games for 10 years. An average of 15 games per year over the stretch, he has been extremely resilient up until the last two seasons.

Really feel for JB. 4-6 weeks with a hammie is terrible timing for him.
Cooked and we will be stuck with him for the duration of his stupid contract.

Hanners part two until end of 2025. 1 million down the drain. Thanks Gallagher you absolute plonker.

Seriously?
Are you saying 4 years is too long for an AFL contract for a healthy player....because other teams are going a lot longer.

Easy to throw mud after the fact. Billings was never an injury prone player.

Gallagher wasn't a medical expert, he was given reports.

You do your share of Plonking on here.

This is a really dumb comment and pretty beneath you really. He played 18 games the year he signed at a pretty decent level when the team was overall playing some pretty shit football and only started having genuine injury concerns last year.

I mean jesus, actually go and look at his stats for most of his career and you can see he is a good footballer even just from that who averaged 20 games a year for the previous 5 years.

Fair chance he may end up on the other side of the country with that contract at the end of the year.

Both the jones and dmac back in full training
Its probably pessimistic but Jones will need to get through probably two weeks at Sandy and im not convinced he will without some setback.

D-Mac maaaaaybe.

Hope im wrong on both.

Steele clearly hasn't been the same since the knee knock. If a rest is what he needs, give it to him. I'd play him off half back to reduce his running output.
