I’m no doctor but a dislocated knee cap sounds lengthy.

Dislocated mine 4 times.

1st time tore the meniscus (from memory). Knee blew up. On crutches for about 6 weeks. 10 months before i was playing sport again but obviously not with an AFL style rehab.

2nd and 3rd times there was no real structural damage just a bit of bruising and was back playing tennis again in 3 weeks.

4th time was longer because i partially tore the medial ligament.

So it really depends on what internal damage there is.

Bone bruising ....approx 6 weeks ...was feared ACL

Strangely it's taken 2 weeks to get notice

Nah, I'm at work. Work blocks out twitter and I have terrible phone reception to the point where it's not worth picking it up to try and read something.

WESTERN Bulldogs midfielder Jack Macrae has suffered a setback in his preparations for round one with the three-time All-Australian injuring his hamstring on the club's pre-season camp on the Sunshine Coast.

The 29-year-old sustained the low-grade hamstring strain on Tuesday and didn't feature in the sim, completing a running session with the rehab group instead.

Macrae is only expected to be sidelined for a couple of weeks and should be available to play some minutes in the match simulation against Hawthorn later this month.

"He was repeatedly seen grimacing and touching his groin area, and ended up on his back on the oval."

Sounds like he was having a great time :moustache:
