I think we can bounce back hard next year. A fit Sam Darcy going to be a unicorn. Our young boys coming through who were injured last year will have an impact and suprise and then you have Sanders who could be the best first year player given he's AFL ready body. Our biggest off season move was grabbing GWS fitness coach as we clearly couldn't run out any game

Brisbane.. from reading here, everyone agrees they'll make it,, and why not, they're a bloody good side
Swans.. the 'experts' keep saying they've the best young players. This young group is now 12 months older. They rarely miss finals and should be there again this year
GWS.. Started playing like a footy team rather has an expansion club last season for the first time. Plenty of talent,, every chance they make it
Suns.. They might just scrape in this year (but heard that before)

How do the Vics cope if all four NSW & QLD clubs make the 8? (Port, Crows, Freo are also a chance)

Couldn't care less. Actually I'd rather see swans gws Brisbane play finals ahead of all other Vic clubs. GC iffy.

Correct. Essendon were knocked back from playing at Windy Hill around the time of the VFL formation because it was a cricket oval and the mayor thought footy was “ungentlemanly”. Hence Essendon moved to the East Melbourne Cricket Ground and their supporters were assured that they were still the “Same Old Essendon”. Hence the Essendon Same Olds

No one from Victoria really cares. If anything we would prefer if other Victorian clubs don't make it. Richmond, Geelong and Collingwood winning flags has been a horrible few years and would get even worse if Carlton did it.
