Would you say Rush is "shit"? He seems to be one of the better 2nd string QB's. Rush is probably the safer bet, in that his worst and best aren't that far apart, but Lance may be horrendous or could be good

Yeah Rush has played pretty well when he's filled in as a starter, I wouldn't call him shit . Lance probably gets a chance at some stage though just cause they'll be out of the playoff race soon and you might as well find out.

For a supposed offensive genius, Shanahan's record when trailing late in games is woeful. And I do mean woeful. This graphic is almost a year old, but trust me, it hasn't improved since.

While I'd love to see Trey get a chance, I get the feeling that the Cowboys would rather stash Lance, and keep him as a backup for future seasons over playing him now.

After declining his 5th year option he's a Free Agent next season.

If they put him on show, and he plays well, he'll get snapped up in FA by another team.

This way they can keep his numbers down, give him some promises and keep him on the team.

I think the Saints did this when Brees was injured in 2020, and they used Hill as the QB instead of Winston

Until he gets a chance, we'll never really know.

The reason he's not on the niners was Jimmy G getting hurt. If hed played out the season, Lance would have been back in the driver's seat for week one.

But Jimmy gets hurt and Brock comes from the last pick to beating a hot Dolphins team and embarrassing Brady in his first start, and continues to prove he's a quality QB who's ready to go.

Brock is at home in the system, where as Trey is still working on the fundamentals. Unless your Green Bay, Its' a ready now league.

It’s great. Could also be karma for isray getting security to confiscate any sign to do with AR at todays game. Got friends who telling me anyone with free AR15 sign or we want AR15 sign are having security take them off them.
