I wouldnt trade back til draft night if I was going to, need to see who is on the board at 9. If Alt is somehow there its an easy selection, think I like trade back if he isnt however coz they dont have a second round pick. Should target OL, Edge and WR in the first 3 rounds.

Its smokescreen season. I would believe exactly 0% of leaks/rumours about what team likes what QB in the draft at this time of year

That rumour is just as likely to be NE putting it out there so that a QB needy team further down the order (say Minnesota) gives them a bigger offer for pick 3 as it is to be an actual indication of what QB they want

Every top three or five team in the draft order apparently covets McCarthy and wants to draft him....definite red herring imo....hes not that good firstly....and yeah theyre just trying to sus out which other teams actually do like him and would be stupid enough to trade up for him
