What do we do with Cameron next time we play these campaigners.

He’s a ****en talisman, a zen Buddha freak who just makes them better by being out there.

Runs around making a difference wherever he goes.

Need to at least pressure him into thinking he’s in for a hard day.

I'd also say that the minutes in the last quarter where we dropped our heads were after we had three shots on goal that could have put us in front. We were demoralised. It is why I don't think our run of goals at the end was meaningless. We shifted our headspace from defeat to possibility mid-quarter (you could see Cripps trying to get us going). Make no mistake - being in the habit of never thinking you are out of the game is going to get us a long way.
Good take and agree. The game ran for nearly 6.5 minutes after Acres’ second goal after we booted 4 goals in 5.5 minutes. There was plenty of time to snag the lead and the 6-6-6 rule facilitates the ability to score quick from the centre bounce.

No idea how the only person near him for his last goal was Jaxon Binns 🤔

We had three opponents today:

1. Geelong (who were on song).

2. The umpires.

3. Ourselves. With our own inaccuracy and continual bombing into the same predictable spot where Charlie had three opponents.

Much to learn still but good to come out of it with just a 13 point loss and more experience to better ourselves from come September.

we're carrying injuries and so our 'bottom 6' really are a bottom 6.. cats were too classy all over the field today.
The first half umpiring killed us but if we took our chances we were good enough to win in the second. Owies Durdin OHollands all really poor, TDK 0.3 hurts, not sure about Carroll use.

Is it just me or do we have too many that get sucked in to following the ball like U8s

I built up our role players before the game. Cottrell and Boyd were great. Owies and Durdin were very disappointing. Ollie Hollands was lacklustre. Carroll invisible aside from his goal which was great. Cowan came back down to earth after his good showing last week.

I think Binns deserved his call up, but I wish Cincotta came in instead. Binns looks like a 12 year old next to AFL seasoned bodies.

corey durdin...... what a *en absolute let down
Ok you might not get goals every game, and we can accept that as long as you contribute defensively. But he provides little of that too. Routinely watches his man run off him. It's really not good enough.

Hopefully the elite high performance department can fix motlops "stubbed toe" sooner rather than later. He's very missed right now

66 I50’s us, 45 them

Efficiency I50 62% them, 45% us

There’s the diff folks
Problem is our F50 entries often has 20+ players in the area whilst theirs often had 6 or less…..

Teams know our weakness is defending fast rebounding play and our ineffectual small/mid forwards cannot impact enough.

Crowd Charlie & Harry with numbers, get it to ground and fly out of there to an open forward line !!

Would love to see Cinc in next week.

Not sure who for though. Cerra will be back. Gov may be back. Cincotta would have fought that game out every second.

He can't. The tribunal have decided his opponents are free to punch him in the face.
Poor guy - he just cant get it right :tearsofjoy:

Last week he was doing well antagonising Hogan

I didnt like seeing him get pushed over that ball by henry for that goal - he needs to eat those up and not give away easy aerial possessions like that - specially to a smaller player
