lot to love about Billy Wilson , growing in confidence every game..Binns thought processes need work as others have picked out ..Liam McMahon...maybe picking him up mid season draft ( not against that)

MaMahon is quick and agile and can find the goals like him a lot, not against him in the MSD neither.

Totally against my long term logic for the club, but we need one or more ready to go mids in the MSD to give our Ressies half a chance.

This is cruel.

Even when they've had the option to make the midfield bigger - even just as a temporary tactic - they've tended to refuse. Cowan being thrown in last week was the first time I've seen it in years.

Wilson moves well. Put him around the ball.

Absolutely mad comment, how dare... though we were sort of doing that until we threw him behind the ball for the last month or so.

He went from half-back to on-ball in the NAB League, putting him on the wing was probably not the play as he's not used to providing the outlet.

Wing also plays a lot differently at VFL level as the ball usually sails past the area outside the arcs where they would have an impact.

He's someone who may step up. Tall, mobile and has some good traits. Possibly the type that will play better and a better level

I’d be pretty disappointed if we recruited someone in the MSD for that purpose. IMO the fact our reserves are so bad currently is a function of the current injury crisis and the lack of quality amongst the non AFL players. I reckon the VFL team should try to sign a few more recently retired or delisted ex AFL players like Lachie Young.

The primary purpose would be as depth for the seniors and making the VFL stronger is a side benefit
