I'm confused. Wasn't the secret herbs associated with Peatling. Is there a connection (apart from the photos)?
Yes the information was about peatling and why we might have an advantage, I joked that maybe Davis is his uncle.

Look, he's listed at 186cm but I reckon that's more of a 180cm-type with a normal neck
I'm actually kind of wondering why we don't see more of the opposite in the AFL. I can't think of too many "that man has no neck!" kind of guys in the pros.

So, there must be some kind of survival of the fittest thing going on here. The extra vertebrae must provide some kind of sporting advantage.

Leverage maybe.

Seems a weird get after the rumours of a Dew or Montgomery.
Still room for a senior assistant capable of taking over mid season.

If you had a short neck you'd be shorter and therefore less desirable

Wonder if Harper had anything to do with him when he was State Director of Coaching for AFL Queensland?
Intriguing appointment.

I still hope we are making a big play for Graham Wright so we can boot Adam Kelly from that head of footy role.

Coaching Director hopefully seems far enough removed from Head of Football.

Still - a 'coach' from a premiership winning team should hopefully improve us. Literally ANYTHING is an upgrade on the rank and file we currently have.
Kelly isn’t going anywhere.

Wait he is senior assistant or coaching director? If he’s coaching director a bloke who has never coached in his own right is now overseeing our head coach? That makes no sense
Director

Had plenty of experience in the system and no doubt has learned a great deal from Fagan and co.

At least he’s from a successful program that has had to build from rock bottom like the Crows are attempting

I'm sure he's a decent coach and does provide valuable premiership experience.

Not sure about a person who has only ever been an assistant coach now sitting above our head coach in the hierarchy.

With that said, Nicks hardly performs like a head coach so someone else telling him what to do is probably a good thing

Could it be worse though?
