the only hit is the rookies min wage , you are paying sleevo regardless.

The current CBA covers the period between 2023 and 2027. The document sets out minimum pay for players based on a variety of factors. In 2024, the minimum pay for a rookie-listed player is $90,000

Just had a quick glance and there’s 5-7 players I would cut now plus a couple of 32+ year olds which will need replacing in a couple of years.

Cooper Harvey is a bust, why can’t we work that out. There again on name. Surely the draft would have been the way to go to bring in young talent rather than kick the can with Harvey again. Rawlings will be gone by the end of 2025
