Robinson has had a few near death experiences over the last year or so. He underwent open heart surgery in late 2021.

In his post-operation dribble piece for the heraldsun, he talked about smoking, drinking, diabetes, heart conditions and a litany of health related issues that he had chosen to ignore or overlook.

It makes you wonder why his newspaper and employer didnt demand an annual health check in order to continue his employment. He had smoked for 35 years. His drinking habits were well-known. It should have been obvious to his employer that he had candidate for open heart surgery written on his forehead and yet they didnt do a thing. Unforgiveable.

Health issues are almost 99% private, as they should be.
Sport totally blurs the line.
Mental health is still new, which includes concussion.
Robbo heart stuff is isolated as HE chose to self flaggulate as you stated.
Newspaper employees have been one of the biggest self abuse people for years.
Read Paulie Stewart's book (Painters and Dockers) as a read into the toxic estate...

Think thats over blown, He completed match sim. It was a warm day, maybe got a bit sore at the time.
Havent seen any cause for concern at this point.

Never saw them at a pub but did see their free lunch gig in the national mutual plaza where the Die Yuppie Die film clip was recorded. I was dressed like a yuppie of course…

I tend to question whether our club is taking its duty of care responsibilities seriously, if it is putting the big bodies of jordy and beau in the midfield and allowing them to ragdoll opposition. Surely, the club forsees the likely injury issues....

Don't ya know that Beau only tackles hard because he won't win his own ball? Easy to let the other bloke go in and then jump on him. I'm saying this on behalf of a friend

Then make a personal choice to stop doing those activities that get you knocked out. However, you might get so much enjoyment from those activities that you chose to continue.

btw. mating with someone can cause you untold stress, anxiety and possible suicide. I think the practice should be stopped.

At my age, I stopped those activities 30 years ago
