Excellent point. And, I expect that the club will make the decision early in the New Year for that very reason. Much like Frampton was given the nod early in Grand Final week to give him time to assimilate the fact and to train knowing he will be playing for sure.

There’s no such thing as a neutral/centrist news outlet anymore. They all lean one way or another to a certain degree, which is why I said they’re all garbage.
Fair enough any media source leans one way or the other. No issue for me.
Outright lies and bias.
Murdochs stock in trade.

For all we know, the coaches & Wade etc could be happy with him & how he's going. Have they told us otherwise?
I'm pretty sure that Wade said he was a lazy spud and that we should de-prelist him. But Dekka won't because he's really keen as he's an undersized tall.

You blokes from the whipping boys threads get confused when posting elsewhere. I've noticed with you and Mark 555

Whipping? You've got it wrong. Like Dekka, I'm excited by his limited exposure to exercise.

I might wait a bit to decide my view on Sam Sofronidis and let the chips fall where they may based on how the coaches and recruiters assess him. Once upon a time some thought Jack Briskey was going to be a sure thing for AFL standard.
Once upon a time many here thought, Markov, Murphy, Cox, Lipinski, WHE, Cameron and Frampton were spuds. Superstars like Tom Mitchell were finished.
Lmao at them now.

I am one of the posters that thinks Mcreery is on the softer side of the spectrum. His bone crunching tackles don’t make him hard. Pulling short of 50:50 contests is what I am referencing. These are facts. Not saying he’s not a valuable contributor, and best 22. Impressed he’s training hard.

Oh boy...

Hardly a training report, but I was having a stroll around Burnley Park in Richmond this morning and coming in the opposite direction towards me is a bloke, a girl & a German Shepherd. What’s noticeable is the bloke is a bloody big unit and that he has a noticeable limp.
As we passed I said “good luck with recovery Dan”, and Dan McStay said thanks.

Was Ginni in the bush filming them?

Cautiously fantastic news!

I say cautiously because his health should be paramount and I really hope the club is putting measures in place to hopefully “retrain” him in the way he attacks contests to prevent further serious concussions which could end his career prematurely.

Also Jen2310 is there any training tomorrow or Friday

There was this morning in morwell. I hope they put up some footage. But now until Jan 11, they are on holidays.

There have been plenty of absolutely awful premiership players who have been in the right place at the right time. Frampton being a premiership player really speaks little about his quality and more about our lack of options for the role that needed to be filled.
Yet he beat a player widely regarded as THE driving force behind in many people minds the the Premiership favourites, defence and attack in the most important game in many years, which we won by the narrowest of margins.

No doubt he could have taken two marks and maybe kicked two goals, which would have made him the stuff of legend, but end the end he did his job.

I can't find anything to complain about regards Frampton, only respect.

All well and good but how do you train a player to avoid being sniped with an elbow off the ball by some st kilda flog?
