I always like to have fun linking new players number to past players.

worthington and Starcevich were good kpps for us…. So eyre gets 27!

of the other two the best runner gets mcgaunes 34

Reckon 34 stays vacant given Tommy McGuane is draft eligible in 2025

I think we are just one step ahead of the comp by recruiting for squad depth, and will soon be a trend
You see it all the time in premier league and it really can win you games - Just ask FatJesus about Jorghino the other day ;)
We did that last year with Frampton.
club thought they might get 4 or 5 good games out of him when needed.

Ireland picken and whoever else not bad at half back
Dennis O'Callaghan early mid 70s for back pocket. Given my name is D O'Callaghan used to love seeing his name in the record. Doug Gott played a lot down back but Robert Hyde is the one who should slot in. Copeland in 75 then shocking knee injury in 76. He was going to be a star

Can't see Frampton being best 22 - he's depth and will only play when there's a hole to fill - I can see us playing him behind the ball in the VFL with stints on the ball to maintain his ruck skills and fitness.
Frampton is not best 22 as a ruck or forward, as proven at Crows and Port. We recruited him as a tall defender. Personally I’ll wait until he has played a string of games there before making a judgement.

Moore, Murphy and Howe are three reasonable footballers.

Yeah Hyde probably the best fit

Funny to look at that grouping of Magro Cooper Worthington. Very memorable players but none reached 100 games and 77 was the only time they played a lot together.

You may want to advise him to try a different number if he's zeroed in on 20 - it seems cursed!
Yeah.. the moment he put it on, he got injured.
Lets retire it.

You're right, his best position seems to be tall defender - and it's prudent to give him more time. He's been a very good servant, and there's likely to be many times during the year that he'll be required, would love to see improvement in him that takes him into our best 22, from what I've seen, I'm not sure it will happen this year other than as a result of retirement of one of our key backs, e.g., Murphy, Howe

Committed to Coburg. One of their coaches told me. He will receive better match payments out there.
Just be in a Team that gets Flogged most weekends

We will end up with a mid season draft pick and can see us taking sof or teakle.

Feel for husthwaite...seems he was never really a chance
It seems they are at this point giving mcstay every chance to play finals, but we'll know more by mid season one way or another. Feels like they are okay with taking the 3 and bypassing the MSD. So it'll be a watch to see what happens.
