I believe it was mentioned that there were serious question marks about his defensive running and his ceiling at AFL level as an inside midfielder.

And lifetime FA too. Overagers get rookied at midseason instead of going in the national draft (excepting those that Geelong still picks up occasionally), and recycled just get DFA.

I think Essendon has added 9 to its list this year already, but only 5 in the ND, the rest were our MS rookies (one of which was then delisted), plus we had a couple of rookie upgrades that are technically sort of ND but are not called out or even listed in the draft anymore. +1 via trade (forgot about fiorini)

Massive tickets on himself. Apparently a very poor attitude. One of the posters on our board had was involved at a carnival game and basically said he shouldn't be drafted due to attitude alone.

Having said that, after being so highly rated, he'll now have received a gigantic dose of humble pie after going last of the non re-rookied players in the rookie draft.
