This is our Dion Prestia replacement. Welcome to Richmond.

While he's still producing solid performances and his Power are winning games, Willem's form has dipped a little over the last few weeks. This was his final tune up heading into the Champs on the weekend so he can be forgiven for being a little distracted. One thing to watch for me is that he can go missing a little when shifted forward like he was for large parts of the second half in this game.

Haven’t really taken much notice of this kid, however, after watching his highlights I will add to my list of kids to watch. Burton looks like a great gut runner. Did remind me of Prestia in style, although much slighter in shape. Also stats 30+ every week in CTL really caught my attention. He can find it.

Posting another Dovaston vid here. Last time people mentioned that you already have a bunch of his type on your list. I think its worth giving him another look, he's progressing rapidly this year, and should have the versatility to play other roles than just small forward.

----

Lachy has had games with more possessions and more goals, but I feel that this was his best performance of the season to date. He's spoken about his focus on his pressure game and it was first rate here, stifling his opponent's movement and creating opportunities on the turnover. It felt like something was going to happen every time he was near the footy and he regularly sliced through to score himself or create for his teammates.

Get Duursma with our first. Trade Norf's first, our future first and Blight for Reid and their F2. Get Walker next year.

Lalor, Reid, Duursma, Smillie, Hotton, Walker. Easy :D
We have zero chance of getting walker.

Doing what he always seems to do, NHH moved into the forward line in the fourth quarter and kicked the final two scores of the game to lift the Stingrays to victory. NHH will be a more fascinating watch than most through this Champs series. He played through the midfield in the first half of this game and had moments where it looked it might be a winning move, but it seems as though he still lacks real match fitness to run through there for long periods, and on a couple of occasions he was beaten to the ball by Tassie mids going lower and harder. Is he a midfielder, a winger, or a marking forward? Plenty of questions still to be answered.

3 in top 5 are Academy tied + Rodriguez & Sharp are interstate + West coast will have picks 1&2
= what’s left is Lindsay, Grlj, Greeves.

Those two first round picks we are so dearly counting on are looking a lot easier to trade for Harley Reid every day… To be honest I wouldn’t put it past West Coast to be asking for more then these two picks.

Oliver (19)
Hynes (20)
Dattoli (22)
Angove (24)
Bowman (26)

Fair to say that most of the top 25 were at least on club radars while there were some bolters who came with a rush in the 2nd half of the year to get drafted in the first round.

There’s some pretty decent talls in this years draft
CDT,
Ludowyke,
Curton,
Emett,
Murray,
Schubert,
McCarthy
And I’ll throw in Mitch Marsh ( 3rd tall).
Reckon that stacks up ok compared to last year’s crop. Time will tell, but some good performances in the SA v Allies game.
The mids on the otherhand look a little underwhelming.
