Nah Taylor has genuine line breaking pace and is an exceptional intercept marker. Also Evan’s is an overager.
Tigers definitely have some interest in Xavier Taylor, they interviewed him in the last couple of days.
Presumably wouldn’t take him with our current first two picks? Other scenarios being considered…

Classy left footer. Good in the air. Not sure we'll go another tall forward after drafting Faull, Armstrong and Sims last year, and there's also Fawcett.

I think we'll go more mids/running types.

To add to this, also talks about being a strong lead/mark option up forward which doesn't necessarily translate to our chaos ball movement game plan (although it would be nice if we could kick some easier lead, mark goals)

What did the Buffalo say to his son when he left to go to school?

What do you like about Farrow? I think he’ll still be there at the Hawks 1R. All ears for a trade for pick 4 so we can take Lindsay in addition to the two you’ve mentioned.
I like alot about him but would be a reach at our selection
But if there was a trade to down grade 1 of our picks to a #10-#15 range he would be the exact player Richmond would be looking for.

Size , Speed , Footy IQ , Good in the air and defends well
I could see him becoming a Hayden Young / Miles Bergman type for Richmond

Just take Lindsay with one of your first two picks.

Make an offer
#4 for Hawks 1st rounder and what else ?
The question is what is an 8 pick slide worth? Our next pick after Hawks R1 is 19.
So that’s 4 (Lindsay) for 12 (Farrow) and 19 (Barker). If you look at the players rather than the numbers it seems about right, I’d be happy with either side of that equation but obviously depends which players are going to be available and who your targets are. Injury free Hayden Young ceiling would be the best you could hope for.

Probably going to have to if we want him. If we can trade up for GCS Port pick or Saints pick and end up with 1,2,6-7 our best chance would probably be to hope Sharp slips through to 6-7 but that’s a huge risk.

How are you going to have pick 6-7 whilst still holding on to picks 1 and 2 (trade a future first?), which would be very risky as the Eagles are likely to finish bottom 2.

Sharp will not get past Richmond's 2 early picks.

Pretty easily. At worst we can trade 12,19,30,46 with GCS who need points for Port’s pick leaving us with 1,2,6-7 and our future picks intact.

And yes, Sharp is the one player I don’t want to miss. You think you’ll take Sharp after taking Smillie last year and for Richmond he’d be preferred to Greeves?

That Port pick isn't going to be pick 6-7? Most likely pick 10 after Allen and TDK compo.

I’ve got Port finishing 13th (pick 6), which then goes to pick 7 after Allen compo. Can’t see which game they win from here. I’ve got Blues finishing above Port so TDK compo makes no difference to that pick.

These are your current picks 12, 19, 30, 48 = 2492 points

GC have 8, 13, 17. They are more likely to deal with Richmond as our picks are worth (pick 2, 2481) and (pick 3, 2178)

Definitely Sharp over Greeves.

Why would GCS trade up? And if they did they’d be more likely to go after pick 1 from us on that logic.

Ok, so hand over pick 1, which you won't, so it's a mute point.

From what i hear, we may look to split our pick 3 with either Ess (if they get the draper band 1 compo pick) or GC, now whether that evenuates is anyone's guess.

100%

With taking 4 KPP last year and 3 mids (1 HF/Mid )
Midfield will be the focus and beyond Taranto / Hopper Sharp is a different type to what we have
Sharp & Cumming would be my preferred sections if available

#7 Willem Duursma
Midfielder/Forward | 191cm | 21/06/2007

Stats:
26 disposals, 10 tackles, 6 inside 50s, 2 goals

Duursma continues to do everything in his power to put any queries on his draft stocks to bed. He brought his usual energy, speed and cleanliness to the contest, while continuing to show development with his contested game and defensive work. Duursma led the game with a season-high 10 tackles, with most of them coming around stoppages to stop opposition bursting out with ball in hand. As per usual, Duursma looked most damaging when collecting the ball at speed as the opposition struggled to keep up with him. Up forward, Duursma was at his high-flying best, taking a couple of impressive overhead grabs on his way to two majors.

All this talk about splitting one of our picks got me thinking about this video of the NFL list manager of the Baltimore Ravens.

Basically he says the draft has so many variables that the only way to ensure you pick more good players... Is to have more picks.
