Sounds like Guerra is just being flexible, probably doesn't like being definitive until he's really got a start and a new coach. I'm not expecting a massive shake up regardless.

Reckon this is spot on. I'd keep Verrall as young talls take time and he seems to do OK at VFL level.

Of the mystery boxes I'd definitely keep Sestan and I'd hope we keep Brown. Woewodin and Verral aren't up to it imo.

Sestan has clear afl traits with his kicking and size/strength. We've done the hard yards (as has he) in building his tank so I reckon it would be a mistake to cut him now. I'm pretty sure I read other clubs have shown interest so it would probably be a trade scenario, albeit a low value one. I guess that puts the ball in his court too, whether he wants a move for more opportunity. I rate him though and would prefer to keep.

I can see value in Brown as a role player type. Good tank, defensive mindset, pretty clean with his hands and a sneaky goal sense. Ideal low-cost depth I reckon and there's at least some chance he makes it as an AFL player in a good system.

For some reason I am bullish for 2026. I see a dozen players exploding next season under a new coach. Just so glad Goodwin is gone... he wasted a great list. Even the last two seasons we had the cattle as far as the first 22-24 players go..... but the list has awful depth thanks to all the spuds Tim Lamb has bought in.

Sharp, McAdam, Billings, Woewodin and Sparrow must go for starters.

A new coach may be able to find use for Kynan Brown and Bailey Laurie.

I don't think White will slip as far as the rookie list, but our rookie list is probably looking like:

Culley, AMW, Kentfield, Henderson, Mentha (Cat B) - So 2 spots available for Cat A's, and often they leave a spot free.

Sestan and Verrall would need to be elevated if kept now I believe. Assuming Brown & Hore both gone.

Yeah, I think Sestan and Verrall could both go if that's the case. I would've liked to have seen Sestan at half back. Especially with our lack of foot skills. But I guess it's his lack of speed that hurts.

I think Henderson goes too.
