Can’t help but thinking in hindsight we’d have been better to absorb with picks 9 and 11 and got a mid teens pick back!!! I know it’s easier in hindsight but we’d have had “word” where Ison would go you’d think….
Issue is we only had two first round picks next year and nothing else

The pick we got back would have been in the 20's still with Dean Bid at 3.

That was only an option if the bid came in around 7 or 8. As soon as the eagles planned to bid at 3, we would have only got back a pick in the late 20s. This way we got Dean, 2nds and 3rd.
 
Just a question for interests sake: What effect would have WC's strategy so far have affected them possibly getting Banfield?
He wasn’t that rated with the picks they had I’d assume they were hoping to rookie him & willing to let him go. But it will be off the WCE board to find out after this as they weren’t happy yesterday
