You have to laugh at the stupidity many in the media seem to have about Opening round being an additional game and its not the first time I've read and heard this absurd rational:
Could have fooled me. We always had 22 games per season and Gather Round made it 23 games. Where's this 24th match that teams are now playing?

Dangerfield's comments were ridiculous anyway. Colour me shocked that the injury prone Geelong captain of all people would be interested in spruiking rhetoric about shorter quarter lengths.

Just saw the email about Round 1 tickets at swans so I wasn’t sure if the Round 0 had happened yet

According to Ticketmaster nothing available but you can go on a waiting list.
Maybe more will become available closer to the date.
Try again tomorrow as the Springfield preseason game go on sale maybe some tickets appear for Thursday 6/3/25

I personally would like Yeo in the side. Apart from a brief period last year, Yeo has been a liability in their side. West Coast is better without Yeo.

Well wasn't that a fat lot of good being on the Swans "waiting list". No email notifying me that tickets were on sale. Standard form from Ticketek to be fair.
Out of interest how did you get notified tickets are on sale?

Just an email telling me tickets are available for Rd1 from Lions membership, no other games mentioned.
I had not joined a waiting list, so it was likely due to the fact I am NSW based.
