Could be the biggest Tuesday yet!

Port did plan for Nas, they thought he was their replacement for Huston and probably thought Bergman and F1 would get the job done.

But Nas decided to become the best hybrid player in the competition and all that went out the window.

Neither port or Adelaide prepared for Nas becoming a top 5 player in the comp, we didn't either but we have the advantage that he's already on our list and we have a bucket load of cash.

Williams is a smart operator and so is SoS, they both know if Nas requested a trade this year it'll get messy because the SA clubs don't have the captial and SoS has the ego and the balls to take this all the way to the PSD etc.

I predict Nas signs,I believe Williams wants a 9 year contract with the option to be traded after year 2 and 4. Which guarantees Nas the money and a "get out clause" if he so desires.

Wouldn't be surprised to see these types of contracts more often after what has happened with trac and others in the past.

And thats why this is taking so long, Nas is not only going to change that game on the field, he'll change the future of contacts moving forward.

I've said this several times the last month - the fact the media are completely in the dark is an excellent sign for us. The only people talking confidently are Joey (St Kilda man, close to key figures at the club), Eddie (close to Ross and Riewoldt) and Garry Lyon (close to SOS). Tells you all you need to know.

What Jay Clark says here makes all the sense in the world. If a trade was happening, and either Adelaide or Port Adelaide knew NAS was coming, we'd know because there'd be movement and talks extending beyond the St Kilda football club. There'd be players getting put out about being linked to a possible trade, managers trying to get their players good deals (going from Adelaide/Port to St Kilda), there'd be meetings with Ben Williams and the Adelaide clubs etc.

The less people involved in this decision, the less likely it is to be leaked. Right now, I truly believe it is Nas, his family, key figures at the St Kilda Football Club and Ben Williams with any idea what is happening (which tracks with who is speaking in the media).

Perhaps he hasn't made up his mind yet and will eventually choose Port or Adelaide. But the point is, he either hasn't made up his mind or he's choosing St Kilda. Those are the two options RIGHT NOW if we're reading into what's happening in the media.

That could change tomorrow. But until it does, I'm choosing to remain calm.

Three colours. Terrible news for us. Black and white are technically shades not colours 🥲
Almost ..... white is reflecting all primary and secondary colours, while black is absorbing all and reflecting none. So that rules out saints and port, leaving crows as the winner:mad:

Sounds very plausible.
Covers Nas if he still wants to leave sooner rather than later.
And the benefit for us would be that if he wants to move anytime in the 9 years he is still under contract, and whichever club he goes to will have to pay up big time.
Don’t mind it at all actually.
Up to us to make it very difficult for him to leave.

I’m not sure the poster was quite as technical or knowledgeable on that front as you though 🤣

Be funny if it leaked and caused a rift in the crows camp mid finals about who is getting shafted
Soligo being floated publicly and David king saying, you would trade Soligo for Nas in a heartbeat is enough.

The from coach will be fuming

The football department at the crows has to tell the media/recruiters to shut the **** up….most likely it is all for nothing and all it is going to cause if disharmony when you could win it! Classic crows arrogance garbage.

Nothing a team unifying power stance can't fix.
