Now that our season is over, and news is starting to break - it's time for a fresh thread.

As we are now officially in our off-season, we'll be wanting to keep this thread more strictly on-topic than the previous iterations.

Free Agency Period: Friday, October 3rd - Friday, October 10th
Trade Period: Monday, October 6th - Wednesday, October 15th
AFL Draft: Wednesday, November 19th - Thursday, November 20th

If it makes you feel better, there’s been rumours that we plan to turn pick 7 into pick 9 (TDK compo) and pick 20 (JSOS compo - which would be band 2 in this scenario)

It does and I appreciate it.

Also based on ladder position, I imagine you'll play them twice next season. Must be nice to pencil in two wins this early.

Anyway, looking forward to seeing what else you guys do this offseason (but please keep your war chest away from the AIA centre, thanks).

I dont know, im not crowing about JSOS.

If JSOS and Aleer are coming were paying $1.3-$1.4m to cover Battle and get Tauru, all this really does to me is make it more important Tauru properly becomes a star.

I also hate the narrative elements here (JSOS running back to Daddy, SOS' obsession with the blues).

It is what it is and i hope it makes us better on field but im not quite as chuffed as many on here seem.

Just enjoy it for now and text a few. Carlton mates. We will find out soon enough if it’s boom or bust.

I think its fair to speculate, we all do it with oppo clubs.

At a bare minimum were gonna have the two highest paid players in the league next year and both are making alot more than this years highest.
