Oh ok so Ratts just hit the draft and went all out in kids like Lyon has?
I see …missed that but but up the agenda Bill you’re nothing if not constant..👍
Nobody thinks Ratten was a gun coach, but this narrative that Lyon has turned around a sinking ship is highly debateable. We are 4th last ffs🤣

We have drafted really well the last few years, and that is exciting. However, you seem to want to give him all the credit for the list being in better shape to Lyon. Rebuilding through the draft was the only hand we have had to play.

As for playing the kids, Ross does this because we dont exactly have an army of senior players knocking doen the door. It is hardly a bold call to sit Zac Jones in the 2s.

In anything, Ross continues to give far too much leeway with ageing players. He has been very leniant with poor form from Hill, Steele, Wood etc. Taken way too long to make midfield adjustments.

Let's see where we are in 12 months, but onfield I would say we are underperforming quite a bit.

Ross has a talented young list at his disposal. It will be interesting to see how long you can keep putting him on a pedastool if we are ordinary next year.

Was about to say, TDK is still a goer for those who think Keeler and heath are either out the door or our of favour for any particular reason.

I think many would see Keeler and Heath as quite different. In talent, and in role.

Keeler is someone who can play forward or back and can be more than just a chop out in the ruck. Plus his potential is much higher, though yes could still not make it. He can also play on the flank, maybe even a wing. Needs to become stronger in the body and contest though.

Whereas Heath is more your No 1 Ruck type. And who looks to be more your GOP type at best. Dodson would looks to have much greater ability and upside and may squeeze Heath off the list.

We get it you don't like Ross

Bullshit. We could have kept doing what we were doing.

He has moved on 29 players since 2022
The list is talented but wont be able to be a top 4 team until they are in the premiership window age and games demographic
Don't worry you have a few years left regarding Ross untill that happens.
Atleast Ross isn't taking the piss.

He has to go. He's taking up midfield minutes that are better given to our next crop.

Also is far from reliable week to week and too one paced.
How about we make the next crop earn midfield minutes instead of handing them a spot with no pressure to perform because we have no other midfield options on the list

It’s funny. Ross gets criticized for running the entire football department, but when the team does something good - he shouldn’t get that credit?

I do agree with your point about him never dropping his favorites. He had the same issue in the good old days.

Maybe he likes Brad hill running around like a gummy shark

Sure fire way to be stuck in the mud when our senior players never get dropped after bad games either.

He did drop dal and Milne
We then made a preliminary final having to beat essendon by over 100 points for top 4 with Milne being smashed during a freo game and having to be drove across the Nullarbor because he couldn't fly due to injury.
Then two grand finals in two years technically the only coach in AFL history to make 3 grand finals in two years.

Based on all coaches voting against it (I think) in the most recent coaches catch up, and an actual football person in charge of the rules that started on Monday.

The coaches were bemused it wasn’t scrapped this year (good evening Laura)
It's a good time to have 2 gun rucks
It sounds like an incredibly well thought out strategy
